if it wasn't for that huge gap in the radar conveniently located over SA, I'd say it was going to rain today.. how exactly does this happen? there's rain all over, except where we are?

It will come their is a disturbance rotating through Big Bend that will get here i little later.

yeah, I got a few drops here and there on 151, but most of it missed us as usual.. oh well, at least it was pretty cool (for here) all day

Today was actually very nice--a little overcast early on, but once the sun came out it was gorgeous and not too hot. I'm ready for the heat, but this was nice.

How funny, I was just thinking about reviving this thread. Not about the showers, but the nice heat we're dealing with.

There's a weak disturbance moving through Mexico and most of these showers are surviving off of the energy given off by daytime heating. After sunset, I suspect most of these storms will die off in a hurry.

We'll have better rain chances towards the weekend as there will be a general weakness in our atmosphere allowing for a few air mass daytime storms to pop up, hopefully on a larger scale.
