NWS Austin/San Antonio:

Quote:
LONG RANGE MODELS CONTINUE TO INDICATE IMPROVING RAIN CHANCES FOR
NEXT WEEK...ESPECIALLY TOWARD THE MID AND LATER PART OF NEXT WEEK.
THE GFS SHOWS A POSSIBLE SPLIT RIDGE OR WEAKNESS OVER TX BY LATE NEXT
WEEK WHICH WOULD GREATLY IMPROVE CHANCES FOR SIGNIFICANT RAINS

Houston is stuck in a similar pattern as we're in right now -- just add a bit more humidity.

They too are also at risk of seeing some scattered showers and storms all week long... nothing severe, just typical summer storms off the Gulf of Mexico.

I'm watering the grass right now with a soaker thing, transplanting Raspberries, and thinking about watering the Volvo today. Maybe that has something to do with it. I was out trimming trees earlier and it's brutal out there.
