OK...first off...I am NOT from California. I am from Georgia originally and have NEVER lived any farther west than San Antonio, so perhaps I am not in the majority here, but I MUCH prefer I-N-O to Whataburger any day of the week. The first time I had WB (in Oklahoma) I couldn't understand all the hype. I have had it a couple more times, but still don't like it very much.

As for the "Californication" of Texas, you know that I-N-O has been around since 1948, right? Really not my idea of a "California Chain" trying to take over TX...especially since it's not coming here.

So for all you I-N-O lovers...you can add me to your list!

My best friend lives in Austin, we both go to Vegas frequently and always eat at In-n-Out when we do. We have inquired with In-n-Out Franchise Office about opening franchises in Texas and have been told that they do NOT intend to open any locations here in Texas. Believe it or not they are scared of...Sonic. Yes, Sonic. I would've thought Whataburger would be their big concern, but they seem to think Sonic is some type of undefeatable burger behemoth. Go figure.
Sorry to bust your bubble here, but In-n-Out DOES NOT FRANCHISE.

Where do people get this crap from?

True, elnina, but this place is a "religion" so to speak, for most folks from California...
