Default Wiseman Blvd Extension FINALLY OPEN!

Well, they finally opened the Wiseman Blvd. extension from Loop 1604W to Talley Road. Nice drive, but only 40MPH. They are clearing bushes/small trees in the area.

Heads-up. Two of my co-workers received speeding tickets on the Wiseman extension yesterday afternoon. The speed limit is 40 and one of the local Smokey's was hanging around out of sight on the other side of a low hill. Watch your speed unless you want to make a contribution ($).

That is soooo lame, its bad enough its 45mph, those motorcycle sheriffs have been on potranco for two weeks now. Give me a break like anyone can really get over 55 on potranco.

Not sure what you're talking about... speed limit is 60 on Potranco outside 1604, and 45 inside.

But whatever.

Be CAREFUL on the new extension. I live just north of it, and riding the Harley to work this morning at 60 changed my mind real quick about the 40 speed limit.

Came over a rise and saw momma deer trotting out from the left. She decided to turn around and go back, but if she'd decided to come ahead, I would have been in some serious "pucker factor" territory avoiding her/stopping in time.

I will be riding at 40 or maybe 45 on that road for quite a while to come!!!

I was driving from Talley Road to Loop 1604 on this road and came around a corner and there was a family riding bikes stopped in the slow lane. Looks like they put up permanent 40MPH signs now.
