ha yea exactly, its kinda sad, when you think of liberty bar you think of an old classy kinda bar with lots of dark wood and steaks... not some bright pink abomination

When does it open in the new space. Like many others, I count the Liberty Bar as one of my favorite places and am a little sad about the move. I keep telling myself it should be about the (wonderful!) food, but I just love the quirkiness and funkiness of that old building.

Maybe the pink is historically accurate?

I suggest that because I know of an inn near my hometown that is painted an atrocious salmon pink color, in a town that's big on historical preservation and where everything else is painted white. Turns out that the pink color on the tavern is the original color that the tavern was painted back in the 1800s.

thing is its not even salmon, its like hot pink, i wish someone would just tell them to paint it... ironically the original color was really nice, it used to be real pretty until they f-ed it up
