Just watch out for the sound of rattling chains in the closet and the thump-thump-thumping in the night (it's not your upstairs neighbors in the heat o' the moment).

A week from now will mark my 4th, thats right FOURTH month at Promontory Pointe. Can't say I've had ANY of the issues that the people on apartment rating websites have complained about. The management has been very accomodatating...and the one time I had a maintanence issue (water heater stopped working) it was fixed within the hour. So I have really no reason to complain.

I would recommend this complex to anyone. Its very quiet (at least my building is) and the neighbors are all nice people, will say hello when we pass eachother. Have not had any problems with broken gates, or any vehicles getting broken into or anything rediculous like that. In fact i feel VERY safe at the complex. There is always security roaming around all night. My wife and I feel very comfortable at our place. Plus the location is so central to everything San Antonio has to offer, im no more than 15 minutes from everything. Good shopping, downtown, six flags, la cantera, etc etc. As much as I love the Stone Oak area and we thought about moving there when our lease is up, I am reconsidering just because it feels so out of the way. I may live here until i upgrade to a house. Pricing is reasonable also.

So, bottom line, dont believe the bad reviews, this place is a nice place to live.
