That was then, this is now. The appendectomy went fine. This is a new condition. Much more serious. It will be more than a few days to recover.

Sad, indeed. Some say that this hemorrhage was due to a previous head injury at last year's TONY awards. Here's the video of that incident:

As I understand it (and who knows how true this is), diabetics have really bad vascular systems and while these brain bleeds dont happen every day they are not entirely uncommon.

i think hes one of those guys that find it really difficult to get old. he seems to try way to hard to look young. the fake hair, eye liner and make up, and those lip injections.

Easy now! I may not have gone the route of fake hair, eye liner, make-up or lip injections; but since I'm the same age as Bret, I can easily understand what it's like to be in the battle against getting old! I plan to fight it every step of the way, until my final breath!
