Default Haitian national soccer team in SA for 2-1/2 weeks

For people that know nothing about soccer.
In most countries around the World, the national soccer team is seen as the group of people that truly represent their country, almost as much as their president and people think of the jersey as being as important as their flag.

The people that wear the Haitian national soccer team jersey, especially during these rough times, will be in San Antonio for the next 2-1/2 weeks.

There's an article about this in today's paper. I really would like to watch a scrimmage game or two!

Not an easy article to find, but then again, nothing is ever easy to find on that Express News website. So here's the link (I hope) so we can all read about it and support them. Thanks for sharing!

That place was packed.

The craziest thing happened to me last saturday. Every saturday me and some friends go to PowerSwing and play some pickup games of indoor soccer. Teams of 6, with usually 8-12 teams. Well, last Saturday two of those Haitian Soccer players showed up there and played on a team against us. Nevertheless they killed us, but it was really surprised me to see them show up to such a small event.

Wow baylor I wish I was there to see that.

I went to the game and had a blast. I was amazed at how skillful these guys were. I'm glad I was able to see soccer played at that level.
