I know someone who fishes there. (Catch and release.) The pond and the land the golf course sits on is owned by SAWS or SARA... I forget which. The golf course people aren't too crazy about trespassers who leave a mess. If you go there, don't leave a mess or bother the golfers and you should be fine. If you have to cross private property to get there, the property owners may have a different opinion of people accessing that land. You might want to consult Zillow.com for an access route that minimizes your time on private land.

I live here currently in the Villas of Vista Del Norte. I have been living here for 2 years. I do not fish at the lake, but alot of neighbors do along with the people who live here. I am curious to when you plan on moving here. I live in an apartment that overlooks the pond/lake and will be moving out soon.
