Just visited S.A. for the 1st time in my 46-year life last weekend. Loved it all. Did downtown (of course) and got to know the WNW and NW parts of the city due to friends in the area. Did a day trip to Fredericksburg and one to Fiesta Texas. I've been to Houston & Dallas many times, but never really "connected" with those places.

S.A. seems a lovely place to live. Our friends who live there seem very happy, and I'd love to come back Seems to be a good, hard-working, honest-to-goodness kind of city. Just wanted to give my .02 worth.

That's exactly how we felt a few weeks ago...we'll be moving there in June, and my husband keeps referring to SA as "home" already...

It is a nice place to live.........but to be fair and balanced, come back in August. We get a little chilly about then.

Your .02 cents makes it a million dollar dity. I came to SA 25 years ago and haven't left yet. Your right on with your evaluation. Thanks for reinforcing my opinion

Yeah, I got an earfull about the number of over-100 degree days last year, but I can always stay inside (or at a water park!).

Last summers weather was a historical event not to be confused with the normal conditions. I moved here 11yrs ago and the only thing I regret is that I did not arrive earlier...
