If I remember correctly, Image was on the west side in the las palmas shopping center. not in the southside.

Image was on SW Military. I believe some of those dj's work at Industries. I believe the club is located near downtown. Jammin 94.1 usually has announcements about an Image reunion.

I was at Image every weekend. Remember DJ Eddie "Kickin" Cruz. There were several Image clubs around town. The one on the Southside was the orginal, I think, and the coolest. There was one on the west side and 2 in the NW side. One at Crossroads (Wonderland) and one off of Wurzbach and I-10. I remember they palyed songs like the Cabbage Patch, The Smurf, Squaredance Rap and my favorite Brass Monkey. Songs by Freestyle, Stevie B, Debbie Deb. They also filmed the club scene from the movie "Lost Angels" starring Ad-Rock from the Beastie Boys at Image on the Southside. Alot of the people who use to go to Image appeared on the local dance show "Jammin" remember Jeanette? And yes they have been having "Image" reunion parties at Club Industry.

I remember Dead or Alive and Devine both played at DJs. It was kind of a mom and pop club, not fancy at all compared to Image. It was originally on Pleasaton Rd at Southcross (1983) which is now a Dominos Pizza.

WOW! Image actually started at Wonderland Mall and had its competition from Trippers. I remember when it started out and we'd go back and forth from each club. Also, the tryouts for jammin were in the parking lot of Jammin at Wonderland and at first you had to be selected versus showing up. I believe that started as it opened the southside Image. I also attended the Northside Image on Perrin Beitel. Before Image there was only Mr G's Teen Canteen on 281/Bitters which was next to the bowling alley.

I don't know if I want to admit this....I to was a Jammin' regular. Not as popular as some, but I did my share of spotlight dances. Ah, those were the days (when I was thin). I have almost every show taped, and I just recently found a box with them in it. I showed my girls and I have never heard them laugh so hard!
