Hello,

I would like for a real estate investor to basically take me under their wing and show me the ropes of investing in the San Antonio real estate market.

I currently live in TX, but I don't know that much about San Antonio. Please contact me via email at: twobuyhouses@gmail.com

Thanks for your help!

Jackie

You better work with someone who really knows what they are doing. The foreclosures here are quite high due to the greed of builders, realtors, appraisers, and banks that put people into homes during the "boom" that never should have been allowed to.

Actually, San Antonio and Texas in general has not been affected as badly as the rest of the country. Affected yes, but I believe Texas rankings out of the 50 states was 42nd. Out of the Texas cities, Houston had the most foreclosures, San Antonio ranked #3; and Austin ranked #5.

Now I know all of these numbers do not matter to someone who's home was foreclosed on or who's property is being affected by a foreclosure. (Trust me I just sold a house in a neighborhood with several foreclosures)

Nevada is ranked at #1 in the nation with Las Vegas being the worst city in all the U.S. Now I would hate to live there right about now.
