Googie.......I've just stumbled on an awesome "diamond in the rough" MCM in AH. I really can't disclose the location because it's my next door NEIGHBOR! LOL... The reason we haven't seen it because it's heavily hidden from the street side (set way back and has a curved drive with lots of trees), and there is a thick row of wooded trees and hedges that are between our houses. As it turned out, the neighbors are moving and asked my son to help spruce up the property for a summer job. It's an amazing home....not huge, but great elements. No window coverings because of all the foilage around the home. It must have been built in the late 40's or early 50's. It has concrete stained floors that are original to the house (like the latest craze right now)....sliding glass walls that open up as if the inside were outside. The exterior patios are all an extention of the interior. Lot's of natural light with elevated ceilings and pop up roof line in the center of the house. It's awesome! The back is completely landscaped and terraced with retaining limestone boulders. Very cool and contemporary, yet vintage! I love it!

Oh, you're driving me crazy ! If they're planning to sell, a relative of mine is looking to buy another home in AH, preferably an MCM....Maybe, just maybe, you could PM me with the address (or simply the vicinity, my houndog abilities can usually spot MCM pretty well)?

...oh yeah, wCat, remember our "friend" Angel over at the Quarry? That jerk recently sent me a bill for 1200.00 for apartment damages! She said I ruined the carpeting, which was a COMPLETE lie. I guess my constant bickering with her did not go unpunished. Anyway, I called her and really b***hed her out, then called my lawyer, who basically said to just pay it, it ain't worth the hassle of fighting it and potentially screwing up your credit rating, etc. BUMMER!
