Hello, visiting from the Houston board. My in-laws, who currently live in Corpus Christi and are originally from Houston, will need to move to San Antonio due to a job relocation. They know nothing about San Antonio and I don't either.

The office will be on E. Sonterra Blvd. in zip 78258. They are interested in apartments. Can anyone recommend some? I don't know their specific budget but I think they are willing to spend quite a bit to get a really nice place. So they want high-end, really nice apartments.

My in-laws love Whole Foods. Is there only one in San Antonio? At the Whole Foods website it only indicates that there is one. Is it close to the address above? I assume Central Market (HEB) is in SA?

I'll let someone else recommend apartments. There should be plenty of fairly new and upscale options in that area.

That location on Sonterra is very close to a Sun Harvest store, which is similar to Whole Foods. It's about 1/4 mile south of the 281/1604 interchange.

The only Whole Foods store in the area is about 2/3 of the way to downtown from Sonterra Park on US-281, about a mile inside of Loop 410. Without consulting a map, I'd guess that it's 6-8 miles away.

Corpus only has Sun Harvest in terms of health food stores and they really prefer Whole Foods.

The absolute closest apartments are right on E Sonterra (210 E Sonterra) and are called the Lodge at Sonterra. We lived there about 8 years ago when we were between a (sold) house and one under construction. Nice, safe, pool, movie room, etc. We had a first floor 2 BR with a garage (heaven!!!), washer dryer, etc.

There is another complex right around the corner on Stone Oak Parkway called the Claremore. http://www.claremoreapts.net/

Going the other direction, just off of Stone Oak Parkway on Huebner is the Villas at Sonterra. http://sonterra.anterra.com/

Another block north on Stone Oak Parkway is the Toscana. http://www.toscana-at-sonterra.com/T...rra/Index.aspx

These are all within 1 mile of E Sonterra Blvd...

I am not sure what you mean by "high-end" (everyone's version is different). And if these don't fit the bill, there are plenty of others.

Avoid Claremore. You won't be able to get in or out due to traffic.
