My hubs is an auditor w/ a MACY but w/o big 4 experience, and we are leaving San Antonio because the salary gap between SA and Houston gets bigger and bigger as the years go on...

There are many, many recruiting companies who can help you find work - if you post a good resume on careerbuilder.com and monster.com, I'm sure recruiters'll be calling you before long.

As much as I hate to say it, I would agree that Dallas would be an easier transition for you.

I moved to SA from DC, and couldn't be happier. But I think if you are coming from a corporate environment, Dallas would match that better.

If there's any way you could, I would visit Dallas, Austin, San Antonio to get a feel for the area prior to moving.

(I wouldn't recommend Houston, but that's just because I'm irrationally biased. )

Or Washington

In a perfect world they'd be able to keep individuals who wreck a state there. If they make a mess they get to fix it!

My neighborhood is strange I guess. We've got people from TX, WA, NJ, MI, FL, and AZ around but I've never seen CA plates.

Just curious, what's going on in Utah? Inquiring minds want to know.

I know this is personal, but can you provide an approx. salary range for what a Senior Internal Auditor and/or audit manager makes? Are six figure salaries realistic? if so, what city? Your input is greatly appreciated and most helpful. Thanks a bunch!

No. It's a runnimg joke because FCF incorrectly assumes that you must speak Spanish to live in SA.

It is just one of numerous incorrect opinions he has about this city. If you look through this forum, you will see his comments are usually contested and many consider Moderator cut: off-topic/personal, substitute "his posts" to be a bad source of information about SA, myself included.

Take everything he says with a grain of salt!

Cheers! M2
