Stayed at the Mira Vista apartments while my house was being built in 2007-8. It had some pluses - the public areas were very nice, the pool was kept clean, maintenance was very efficient and I loved having an attached garage.

However, the apartments themselves just weren't worth the money they were charging. Very dismal, cheap quality materials, appliances, etc. But some may be better than others. The best thing to do is ask to see the apartments that are available so you will have a better idea of what you will be getting.

People often like to live near the places they like to shop.
