Everything in your stomach will look like that after a half an hour. It's called digestion. If it doesn't, something is terribly wrong.

I disagree: Healthy food and junk food looks different in your stomach. Junk food ( highly processed food with preservatives ) contributes to mal-digestion and irritable bowel even malnutrition. Enzymes are extremely important components of your digestive system, as is dietary fiber. Junk food lacks in enzymes and fibers. Processed food don't promote healthy digestive system and slow down your metabolism.

I didn't have time to read all the pages, so apologies if I'm repeating.

At least this is not like San Francisco where the Mayor banned all bottled water! Not sodas, diet sodas or fruit juice....just bottled water! He even banned employees from bringing it from home. All because he decided there are too many plastic BOTTLED water bottles in the landfills. He apparently doesn't care about soda bottles, fruit juice or plastic take out containers.....just water!

As far as Skulley's move....I have mixes feelings. Moves like this effect people's incomes and jobs. Think of the sales rep that fills those machines and counts on a quota of certain products for his or her income. The fruit juice vendor may suddenly in the chips! On a natural level....such as life....but during a recession don't mess with people's income.

On the pro side....schools across SA were having events bringing awareness to diabetes to kids on the same day this broke. I think that's an important message that was left out of this story. And whoever said the diabetic at work will be in a crisis if they don't have access to sugar if their levels drop, doesn't understand that fruit juice will have the same effect.

She's not making anything illegal, and I agree with Perticusrex that people can bring their own snacks to work if they want. Not like San Fran and the shame on evil bottled water. At least our city manger's pov has a shred of sense.....agree with it or not.

Default Aspartame = formaldehyde

Agreed. And sure, diet sodas are better calorie-wise, but anyone who has read up on Aspartame knows that when metabolized in the body, it turns into formaldehyde. Yum.
