Ok going to be there in a couple of weeks. We will spend two days at the water park. Looking for suggestions on best place to make a home base with lunch in our cooler. Any tips on having a great visit there??? My favorite rides would be lazy river type and family type. Not into the straight down water slides. Thanks. Hey any wild flowers still blooming?

Go into the old park. That is where the lazy river and easy slides are. It is also the spring fed area so the water is colder. There are a number of picnic tables near the lockers and changing rooms, but you better be in line early (well before they open) to take one over unless you get very lucky. These are near the bathrooms and a good central location.

On the map you can look at online it is in the Schlitterbahn West area through the Castle entrance. You can see on the map where the guest lockers are.
