Hey I was wondering,does the Texas Hill Country have an actual name,or do folks here just simply call it the "hill country"?Thanks

The part directly west of Austin is named "Gary". East of Kerrville is "Linda". North of San Antonio is "Flaco Jesus Diamante Garcia". The immediate area around Kingsland is "Stacy".

Is the Edwards Plateau. Within it is the Llano uplift.

How about calling it part of the Ouachita-Marathon-Sonora Orogenic Belt?

Hmm, perhaps a bit of a mouthful. I think I'll just call it "Fred".
