This is Donna from the North Carolina/Raleigh forum. I was inspired to get a meeting going during our visit in May (visiting from Southern CA( and we're having our second one July 28th...great to see you all are continuing..we're calling our's "meet-up's...have a fun gathering. Smile ahhhh...the memories...
Otherhalf and I went to the Saucer for a bit tonight for "brewery night" (daughter works there now and clued us in to the cool glass in celebration of the 4th ) and although we've been there a few times since the first M&G, I thought of everybody tonight.... (aaaawwwwwww..... LOL!). Really looking forward to the 18th!! We also decided that we're gonna make every Wednesday a "regular" night for us at the Saucer, mainly for the glasses. I know, totally cheesy, but oh well. So anybody who wants to, JOIN US!

Anyway, I've heard from a few who would like to come to the M&G but will be on vacation/out of town, or others who would prefer a more adult oriented event, so we'll definately need to keep this going and change up the venues from time to time!

BTW, thanx AT for making this a sticky! And thanx Little Thirsty for the suggestion!!

I am new in town just moved two weeks ago, If I can join you folks? I will have my husband drive me the day before so I don't get lost. I don't know my way around to well... Can my children also come 9 and 6..?

Is the place called Bigz around 5ish?

Oops! Yeah, that's a little confusing! The place is called Bigz. The starting time is 5(ish). giggle!

And yea! So glad you're all gonna join us, forest drive! My (almost) 8 year old and 5 year old will be happy to meet your little ones.

Now let's all just hope & pray for a nice, sunny (aka - no rain! ) evening!! Be nice for all the kidlets to enjoy the playground.
