Wednesday, July 18th - 5:00pm (ish!  ) I'm sure that some will get there right at 5 (we're shootin' for it) and others will be there a little later. They are open until 9, but a sign says that the "bar" is open for 2 hours after closing. Otherhalf said maybe it means that they'll still serve two hours if you make it in by closing????? Anyway, we're all looking forward to it! Couldn't wait any longer to try it, so we went last night (it was packed! Sunday night, and all) and we loved it! The guys all had burgers and agreed with Brennan that they are quite possibly the best burgers they've ever had! (Hint - they are huge! Otherhalf ordered a double and said next time it'll be a single!) Little girls had the chicken strips and loved them. The portabella mushroom "burger" that I had was divine!!
"Back yard" was a bit muddy from all the rain, but hopefully will dry up some more over the next week. Also, we're gonna bring some frisbees/balls/etc. for the kidlets to play with.

We went there this past week...just HAD to try it after the rave reviews.....Yummmmmmmmmm, this place is AWESOME! I think that a good time will be had by all and I sure hope that lots of you try and make it...I think this will become a favorite of many for sure!  |

Otherhalf just said, "I really want a Bigz burger!" Told him, "only a few more days...." But dang, that rain last night! The yard will possibly be pretty muddy. Hope we have some dry days between now and then, although I heard we're in for more rain?  |

Yep more rain for us for as far as the eye can see. Of course, we will not see rain everyday, but we will remain in a generally wet pattern like we have been all summer long. I'd go in to the symantics of what's going on up above, but I'd rather not torture ya.. |

Is this rain or shine? I still would like to go but hubby is out of town and work is busy so am going to try but not 100% sure it will happen.

Well, the '07 crew (jules & otherhalf & kidlets) will be there rain or shine. Even if it does rain, the tables at Bigz are covered with butcher paper and there are plenty of crayons to go around. So kidlets will have fun either way. Besides, I'm jonzin' for a Portabella Mushroom "burger"!!! 
We should make it by 5:30. Anybody else planning anytime sooner? Save the tables? |
