The only other thread that comes up in searching this forum for "stahl haunted" is this one: Halloween events in SA?

NBC Incorporated bought it from Neal Carter in 2003 by warranty deed dated December 24, 2003, recorded volume 10800, page 214. Neal Carter bought it from Agnes Narciso by warranty deed dated January 4, 1982. She took the property by warranty deed dates July 6, 1972 executed by Dan S Harris. He looks to have taken the property from Fritz Jung in 1968. I don't have any more time right now to look into it.
I can't find any information about when the house was built, but, my guess is that it was built before 1993, based on some deeds of trust in the record before then as well as value. The tax rolls online are only going to go back to a certain point, one because the data takes a lot of server room, and two, the county began taxing properties differently in 1993.
I ran a secretary of state check for NBC Incorporated and found a couple of possible matches. One is a construction company in Minnesota and the other is a now defunct investment company from Austin. The defunct investment company from Austin was terminated for failure to pay taxes.
It is very possible that this property is currently tied up in either tax or probate litigation, hence it's being left alone, even by the city. I will probably do a little more digging in the future because you guys really got me interested in this.

I distinctly remember the thread being locked because some of the posters were planning on exploring the property....and some had already done so. The reason it was locked was City Data does not promote illegal acts like trespassing....which is where this thread is also going.

It was never in a "haunted" thread....just a mysterious house.

Probably deleted the other thread at the request of the OP, then IIRC.

Good advice not to "go there" in the thread. In other words, if you "go there" to the house without the owner's permission, don't talk about "going there" here in the the thread.

According to Bexar Appraisal District records, the main house was built in 1983. They're fairly close on the year built on most properties and by aerial photos, that looks to be about how old it is.

And it's never been listed in MLS...
