Thank you to those who go all the way into those lanes to turn, and don't proceed to block the lane of traffic that you exited.

Thank you for not doing that.

That's been a pet peeve of mine for years. That's why they exist, and yet people still half-use them or don't at all. Tonight at about seven I was driving and someone in front of me had to swerve way out of his way to avoid an accident because someone else only used half a left turn lane. That wasn't the first time I've seen that either (more like the 100th time).

Anyway, just thought I'd complain about something.

Not sure what happened: they use left turn lane and then don't turn, just proceed straight? Or they use the left turn lane but stop in the middle of the road because they didn't made it on time and traffic light turned red?

I've seen one idiot use one as a passing lane. Works out great when the person they're passing isn't expecting traffic to be going by them in the left turn lane.

And the idiot seen doing this was in Auburn, WA. Not San Antonio.

i think he means when people are turning but don't move all the way into the turning lane. So instead of waiting to turn in the turn lane allowing the cars going straight to continue they make everyone wait for them to turn.

I know - just sharing a turn lane idiot story. Figured that a bad driver story that took place outside of Bexar County for a change would cheer up at least one person on this board.

Exactly. Today was actually pretty good for me, though. Maybe it was the full moon, but drivers were pretty conscientious.
