I'm totally new to this; I found a 3 bedroom HUD home for 39,000. I apparently need approval for an FHA loan for this HUD home.

Does anyone have any experience in this area or can tell me some information about this?

I sent an email to a local "realtor" and he told me some lady would be calling me to start an application and get some information from me.

Just want to see if anyone can share some knowledge or information on this particular type of loan as it relates to a HUD home.

Thanks!

Your lender is going to be your best source of information on this, and if you qualify for FHA.

Yeah, just figured somebody might be able to give some tips or information that might be of use but I don't think too many on here have this type of loan.

In anycase, I'll be applying.

Lots of folks have FHA loans. They actually back loans that go up pretty high. But each scenario is different. If you qualify, they offer you a low down payment and great rates.
