Are there any organic produce delivery co ops in San Antonio? We're in California but moving to San Antonio in a couple of weeks. I have gotten spoiled by our produce co op the last few years. They deliver fresh local organic produce to my door every week, and they also have milk, cheese, eggs, coffee, etc. We support local organic farms, and the produce is much better than you get in stores. I'm looking for something similar in San Antonio. Is there such a thing?

I think the links are broken, when I click on them I get "page not found"

I'm not really looking for a market, but a delivery service.

I fixed the links. A couple of the threads referenced Greenling Organic Delivery - Local food and Organic produce and groceries home delivered - Austin and San Antonio

AFAIK, it's not a co-op, but a commercial operation.

The links included references to Community Supported Agriculture operations, which are co-ops, but may not be operating locally anymore.

There is a vege coop in my neighborhood (Hollywood Park), but I don't know if it's all organic or not. I just recently found out about it. (I grow my own organic veges, so not sure if it would be worth it to me) Anyway, you might want to check out Attachment Parenting International of San Antonio. I don't AP personally, but I like to keep in touch with the community because so many of them are great resources for "keeping it natural" lol--things like cloth diapering, and clean eating, etc. If anyone knows of an organic vege coop, they would! I went in together with several of them last year to order redworms for my compost bin. Great group of moms!

War Eagle! We grow our own organics, too. I'd love to sell some of this food we grew, but I'm just giving it away to family.

Best year we've had, hands down. Getting tired of snap beans with meals!

I'm jealous of your garden!

I didn't plant much this year because we are moving out of state. I'm really regretting that I didn't put out a few tomatoes, but I thought we'd be gone by now. I really need some homegrown tomatoes. I'll miss gardening in San Antonio-- the gardening season is so long--year round, really.

I'll check in to Greenling. How much of a "commercial operation" is it? Is everything local, or is it shipped in? I've come across "farmer's markets" here in CA that claim everything is local, but when you look at the package it says it is a product of Chile or whatever. You have to be careful. We live in the Central Valley of CA, and they grow almost everything here, and everything we have gotten in our basket is labeled by the local farm it comes from. Pretty cool! We try to do seasonal eating, and getting local produce delivered really helps with that.

I have a garden here in CA and we have a lot of fruit trees. Can you grow citrus in TX? I've gotten used to having fresh lemonade and orange juice whenever we want it! We also have more figs than any family could possibly eat, plus almonds, pomegranates, grapes, pears, oranges, grapefruit, avocado, and fruiting bananas. I hate growing lettuce, though, because I feel bad chopping it's head off.
