Hey everyone! Does anyone know of a track that I can use to run on Northeast side of town? If you do, if you could give me the name and intersection, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

We walk quite often at Stone Oak Park and it goes up to Barbara Bush Middle School at 1500 Evans Road - and there is a track there - a nice one - that isn't fenced off (or it hasn't been thus far) and we usually see folks walking around it while we rest there before heading back toward Stone Oak Parkway....

don't know if this is in the area you are looking in - but it's a nice track with lots of parking in the school parking lot. This is a very new school - so the track is as well ;o) Have fun!

Thanks Rottnboys for the info! I live close to McAllister Park, and if anyone knows a track close to there that's open, please let me know!

I would check either MacArthur HS (Broadway and Bitters) or Madison HS (O'Connor and Stahl).

Or Northeast Stadium (Bitters/Starcrest), although I am doubtful they let the public use their facilities.

There is also Churchill HS (Blanco and West).

I see a lot of people run/walk at the track as Roosevelt High School - before and after school hours.

It's located at Raybon and Walzem, just off 35.
