Driving from Victoria Gardens(Rancho Cucamonga) to Downtown Los Angeles every day for work.

I am from Texas, I just got my apt In Rancho Cucamonga, i moved there because the victoria garden area seemed nice and affordable. Well I been here a week, my current job is in Riverside But I may be getting a better job with a FIRM in downtown LA. I just signed my apt lease so if i ge this new job , is the drive from Victoria Gardens(Rancho Cucamonga) to Downtown Los Angeles every day for work , is that horrible? How long will it take. Google says Rancho Cucamonga is only 45 miles from LA.....................

I recommend that you consider a move closer to LA as soon as possible.

Take Metrolink. It's an hour train ride (the station is off of 7th and Milliken) and will save you a lot of money on gas, not to mention stress. It can take anywhere from 1-2.5 hours driving depending on conditions.

I would avoid driving downtown at all costs unless you work odd hours or can carpool.

Definitely tk the Metrolink...unless you don't mind putting that wear & tear on your car everyday. With traffic, even w/ not so heavy traffic, it will easily take 1 hour 1-way to drive. There's a Metrolink station right in Rancho C. & if it's the apts I'm thinking, you're only several min from the station, then of course get off at Union Station. They sell monthly passes.

Try the Metrolink for a couple days to really mk sure you want to buy the monthly pass. I like taking the Metrolink...so nice & relaxing.
