Have Palmdale and Victorville changed in the same way during the last 2-years, or has one deteriorated more than the other? Which one bodes best for more growth/desirability in future? Both are High Desert, do both have same weather conditions in winter? Is Cajon Pass more prone to closing for fog/snow than Rt. 14 from Newhall into Palmdale?

Thanks.

I used to live in Victorville. I came from a big city and moved to Victorville for a job. It was a lot smaller than what I was used to and didn't care for it that much. From what I know, Victorville would be the better choice out of Palmdale and Victorville. VV has grown quite a bit since I lived there eight years ago and has become a more desirable place to live. The weather conditions are the same in both places.
