Look familiar?

This pic is from 1949, but since the late fifties it's been known as Casa de Cadillac. It's at 14401 Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks. The hot dog stand is now known as The Infield and is at 14333 Ventura Blvd, across Tyrone where it dips down from the Northeast.

The interiors for the escalator footage were shot inside the Westside Pavilion at Pico and Overland.

Don't you hate it when you take the time to compose a detailed answer to some moron's question and they never come back to read it?

Yeah ... that's why I stick to the silly, the stupid, and the absurd.

It's kinda like when my MIL asks me a question and then while I'm answering, she starts a conversation with somebody else. I've gotten to wher I answer the question with another question - namely - "do you really want to know?"

It's possible OP read the replies but did not further post or acknowledge the answer. I guess that would be even worse than if they simply never came back at all.

Good reply Fontucky. Those areas in West LA and the Valley are my "stomping grounds."
