Default FiOS problems in Murrieta

Does anyone else in the forums have FiOS in Murrieta?

My package is 25/20, but tonight I'm averaging less than 3mb and sometimes as little as .5mb (according to speedtest.net).

Is anyone else experiencing the same slow speeds tonight?

Hi, I have the same fios package and I've noticed the same thing, I started to notice it a couple days ago and the same today. I called Verizon last night and after being on hold for about 20 minutes the rep had me reset the modem, which I had already tried but I did it again to humor him. Didn't work, things are still slow. He told me the rest of his support system was down and to call back Monday. I've had fios for about 2 years now and it's the first time I've noticed a problem like this.

I got a call back today. One of the master routers in my area is having problems. No ETA for repair. He said he would call me back when he knew more about it.

Where are you located? I'm near Murrieta Hot Springs and Margarita Road.

I'm typing this on my cell, because now it's completely down.
I'm just off Los Alamos right off the 215 split. Hope they get it
Fixed soon, this sucks.

My service was totally out this morning, but it came back about an hour or so ago.

I'm getting 29 down (better than the 25 I'm paying for), but only half of the 25 up that I'm supposed to get.

I never have got better than 12 up (according to speedtest.net). I can live with that.

The problem was with my computer. I optimized my computer got pretty much the same results you did.

I just ran the test again and my upload speed was "only" 17.88 mbps....

We have FIOS and have noticed some slowness with the internet over the past couple of weeks. First time I noticed slowness in the 4+ yrs I have had FIOS. I'll have to do a speed test, to get the exact stats.
Also, this afternoon the phone was on and off, although it came back around 5PM. Might be the router another poster referred to.
