Anyone have any info about this area/development. We are looking at a rental that is listed there. Checked with Desert Sands Unified and it pulls up an Indio address but Desert Sands USD still. Amelia Earhart Elem, John Glenn Middle and LaQuinta High. Just want to make sure that is correct and gather any info I can. Will probably view the home tomorrow.

Yes, Indian Springs is in Indio, but right on the edge of La Quinta. In fact, Indian Springs is right across from LQHS at Westward Ho and Dune Palms, and right next door to Amelia Earhart on Dune Palms. It's a weird boundary line because Amelia Earhart is in La Quinta. I think because the entrance(s) to Indian Palms are on Jefferson Street and the back of one side of Indian Palms is on Dune Palms, they made the whole thing Indio as far as the back side of IP goes, and back to La Quinta for everything else on Dune Palms.

Dh visited both houses and said they are both great! Very nice neighbors and nice community. It looks like they may work out. Weird having the Indio address but as long a they go to those great schools nonethe worse I guess.
