No human can possibly like 106 degrees. You must be alien.

I prefer hot as opposed to cold. 106 isn't my favorite, but it's not a big deal to me. I've weathered temps around 125 here in the desert. That's hot! I am alien - but legal!!!

I patch up my cooler & roof every year but this yr is the worse so far. The cooler is rusting through big time. I can only patch up to a point. I got a feeling its going to be a very long, hot & dry summer.
What I used to do when I lived with no swamp cooler or an AC: Fill up the bath tub with cold water. Climb in wearing Tshirt. Cool off. Climb out and stand in front of a floor fan. Don't drain the bath tub. Repeat as necessary.

Don't knock it. It works

I am assuming all of your furniture was latex or rubber? Or did you just stand for hours on end?

The only downside is that living in the low desert, the water doesn't come out cold during the summer...you would have to let it sit in the shade, in a relatively cool location for it to cool off and then do what you said!!

A heatwave is hitting us. Its suppose to be hotter tomorrow & even hotter on sunday. It hit 97 today (it felt hotter) & was 86 yesterday. My cooler is running now even though the straw pads are on their 4th summer. Its cooler in my home now by 10 degrees.
