Hey all, I have an upcoming trip. I'd like to find out some traffic info before I can book my flight.

I am interested in road traffic between 5AM till 6AM on weekdays.

Thanks!

There won't be much traffic at those early hours. You should have smooth sailing to the airport as long as there is no accidents. Ontario Airport is small and very easy to get through.

Here's how Google Maps gauged it:

45.8 mi – about 47 mins
up to 2 hours 10 mins in traffic

If it were me I'd allow for at least 1.5 hour drive just to be safe. I would think you would be driving with traffic and at that hour people from the desert may be heading south on the I-15.

I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.

Traffic COULD be heavy with all the people coming down the hill from Victorville. Hard to tell for sure.

ONT is easy to get thru....NORMALLY! Last week my wife missed her flight even though we were there 1 hour early. Very crowded for some reason. I've seen it like that once in a while. So this week when she had to fly again we were 1.5 early.... and set around for 45 minutes! YMMV!

Once you get on the freeway in Victorville, it take between 45 minutes and 1 hour to get to the Ontario Airport. I live in Apple Valley, which is right next to Victorville. The parking lot there is small and I'm not sure how much time they make you spend to go through the check out system so I couldn't tell you how much time to alot for that.... but driving time shouldn't take anymore than an hour giving that there are no accidents on the fwy.

.....As long as theres no roadside construction going on. We were stuck in it earlier this year and it took us 4 hours to get from Victorville to Riverside. It would have only been about a 40 minute (or so) drive. Many of the offramps were closed off and we had 2 young kids with us so all we could do was pull off to the shoulder when we needed to let them 'go'. Missed the baby shower we were going to but still were able to make an evening of it with the friends.

Talking victorville, ca to ontario, ca

It should be moving but heavy due to people going to work in l.a. I would do a 2 hr before if I were you, and always prepare for accidents. It's not that long of a drive (a lil under a hr) but you just never know.....you know CALIF DRIVER'S..........don't you ?
