Question Beaumont/Banning Senior communities

We are thinking of looking at the senior communities in Beaumont and Banning. Can you give me any input? Is it really windy? How are the train horns? How is the general area? any info would be very welcome.

I live in Banning & like it. The wind IMO is not as bad as people make it. As of right now So CA has horrible winds, but none here yet. It blows at times, but not bad. There are many senior communities. Of all price ranges, homes, manufactured, condos, etc. Some very nice ones in Beaumont & some in Banning also. Let me know if you need anymore info.

I'm in Calimesa (not too entirely far) but I frequent Beaumont & Banning alot, my daughter also went to Beaumont High School, she says the same thing as EasyLife did, its not that bad, its actually a nice quaint area, I've driven around those senior complexes (Sun Lakes is one) and its really nice, and the scenic views are to die for....the winds were felt in Calimesa, but like EasyLife said about the winds, its not that bad, & I have to drive to Fontana everyday, imagine that (brrrrr)

thanks so much for the info. we are going this weeked and next week as well to look at Solera and we might look at Sun Lakes - but Solera seems to have less restrictive rules. we live in san juan capistrano now but have the trains behind us and we want something more secure so we are off to warmer/hotter temps but some peace and quiet and security.

thank you for the info. i'm looking forward to seeing these communities although i think we might just pick solera because the rules are less restrictive. my hubby will need to park in the driveway cause he's got tools and stuff (he's a retired carpenter) and sun lakes doesn't let you park in the driveway and solera does. i've spoken to a lady who lives in solera and loves it and she will take us around so that's great. how is the health care/hospitals???

370z, I'm sorry I meant to credit you, (silly me)
Easylife, I know because my brother-in-law works for Beaver Medical Group & deals alot w/San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital, says nothing but good things about it, that the staff is really good, and that alot of their patients have commented on how professional & excellent the staff & care is there...
