The Southridge (Fontana) Ralphs closed last year, as I knew they would once WinCo came to town. It was the closest grocery store to me, although I seldom went there. Now there are banners in the windows: Latino market opening in July. They're keeping the name a secret for some reason.

GOOD! You can't have too many supermercados. It'll probably have a panaderia, which would be welcome, as the local panaderia doesn't know what the word "flavor" means. Good riddance Ralphs, bienvenidos supermercado.

Anyone else here prefer Latino grocery stores?

Yeah sometimes I used to shop at the Gonzales Northgate Market in Anaheim. They had a really nice section where you could by whole chickens and side dishes, it was like El Pollo Loco, only cheaper! The bread is also really good.
