Anyone know of some nice and safe areas in close commute to the Riverside County Regional Medical Center?

I am a single, young, white... seriously scrawny female that is considering taking a residency physician position at RCRMC...

I am from a quiet, safe, suburban neighborhood in the Rocky mountain region where hardly anyone even locks their house doors... It is seriously that safe.

So when I checked for possible housing in the RCRMC area, I found that every apartment complex rating I came across warned about severe crime on their premises. I have to admit that this seriously alarmed me.

Does anyone know an apartment complex or townhomes, or suburban area that is relatively close to the hospital without being dangerous or too smoggy? Where I know that I and my only vehicle would be safe?

Also, do you know of any martial arts (Tae Kwon Do) places nearby? Highland dancing schools? Irish Dancing schools? Ballet schools?

Thank you for your time.

If you're looking for a nearby city, there are parts of Riverside that are beautiful and safe, or if you want to head south, you could look at Menifee, Murrietta and Temecula.

Or if you want to stay in Moreno Valley I would forget an apartment complex, and rent a house. Actually that's good advice even if you're looking at nearby cities. It's much easier to find a nice house in a nice neighborhood, than it is to find a nice apartment - the simple fact is that most people prefer houses here, so there are more of them!
