Default West Corona expert advice needed

Hi everybody,

I'm looking into moving to West part of Corona. I know that the area south of Ontario is generally considered to be nice, but there's a fairly large pocket that I couldn't find any information about - the area south of Ontario and west of Mangular (basically right west of South Corona, according to a well-known real estate site). The houses were mostly built in the mid-80s, decently sized lots, and houses that are being sold / were recently sold look well taken care of.
What's the general consensus on that area? Safety, demographics, etc? How does that compare to, for example, Sierra Del Oro (above Green River)? Is there a stigma still going on that if you do not live in the house built in at least 90s, you are in a bad company (that used to be the case a few years back)?

On the outside the area looks at the very least decent to nice and very nice, but does anyone have any experience? The overall turnover there seems to be lower than the rest of Corona. That has to be a good sign, right?

I don't care about the race/ethnic background of my prospective neighbors (after all, English is not my native language either) as long as they speak English and we can understand each other ;-)

Any input is appreciated!

I lived in Sierra Del Oro for a year. It was a pretty safe community tucked back in a the residential neighborhood. As a single female, I had no problem walking around after dark.

That area is more than fine.

Very nice, solid, middle-class neighborhood close to the hills.

It's not as uppity as Sierra Del Oro, which is basically just Yorba Linda East (or so they like to think....).

That area of west Corona is very nice as far as safety, cleanliness, and so forth goes. It's also very pretty with the mountains in the background, and close freeway access to 91 and 71.
