Anyone heard any additional news about the new residential development that's coming to Citrus and Sumner?

Am really considering the move out to Eastvale as it seems like a great, small yet growing community.

I wouldn't want to live that close to the river.

I had no idea that river smelled but I google street viewed that area and it looks fine. Eastvale as a whole looks too much like they plowed over a bunch of farmland and plunked down a bunch of housing tracts. There really isn't a whole lot more to the place. Of course, you could say the same thing about much of the IE.

It's not the most desireable place to live geographically. It's kind of in the middle of stuff and it does get pretty smelly. I see it being a nicer place to live down the road, but for now, it's still work in progress.

i am the daughter of the man who started, ran, and lived for the flamingo dairy for 40 years until cancer took his life. i grew up running around with the cows, worked in the office and loved the dairy as much as he did. and if you grew up with knudsen products in your home then you were drinking our milk. where do you suggest we move our dairies? we were here first. i miss those times. i wish my great-grandchildren could have the same experiences as i did. its sad to me. think about it every time you buy a dairy product.

$$$$$$ speaks, Donna. I hope the dairymen can find a viable place to go IF they are all eventually forced out. I remember when so many of the Chino Valley dairymen moved there after being forced out of LA and Orange Counties. Look at the former dairy cities in that area now: La Palma (formerly known as Dairyland), Cypress and Cerritos. Not a hint of their former purpose. I'm afraid that's where dairy in Southwestern San Bernardino County is also headed.
