There are just two of us here ... so we like to go out for brunch on Christmas Day! We've been to the Mission Inn, and down to a few of the wineries, so we're looking for something new this year.

We've never been to Castaway, so I've posted on their FB page asking if they'll be doing a buffet ... but wondering if anybody else has any great places you could recommend?

HUGz! Jules

One time my family went to Marie Callendars (sp?) and once to Mimi's. They were decent I guess.

Not sure about xmas meals, but both The Magic Lamp Inn and The Sycamore Inn in RC do excellent T'givning banquets. Check with them regarding xmas day.

Two more to check with: Clearman's Northwoods in San Gabriel and The Dal Rae in Pico Rivera.

I have great memories of the Northwoods in Covina. That cheese bread! Oh, YUM!

But they're always closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the 4th of July.

The Rotary Club of Big Bear Lake annual Christmas dinner is held at Pine Summit Lodge. The food is good, the price is unbeatable (free to all seniors; contact them for invitations.) It's held on Dec 5 this year, so you can spend money for a second dinner weeks later.
