I just posted another response here a minute ago but am looking out my window right now and sure enough, the air is somewhat thick, looks a little foggy but its not fog, its smoke. The smell is very obvious. From where I am, in the high desert, nearly the whole sky is covered. It wasnt this bad yesterday.

Hello Bentaxlecrew,
I am trying to help my father who was affected by a fire off the 15 and Sierra on October 21st . A big rig overturned on the 15 at about 1:15 p.m. on Sunday the 21st but the truck was not cleared until the 23rd. There were two trucks overturned, one near a bridge and one about 100 feet from the Sierra exit northbound. Do you happen to remember either trucking company or any info that could help us find out who caused the fire that burned down the house he was renting? Please contact me at Aang10@msn.com . Thank You , Angela

Santa Ana Winds and a lot of dry, dead fuel. Arson or not, it's bound to happen and in the long run it helps improve the local ecosystems after clearing out all the dead, dying, and/or bark beetle infested trees and plants.
