99 Cent Store-San Bernardino location....(on Waterman). Decided to check it out because it's huge, a guy in the parking lot was selling stereo equipment from his trunk. Hmm, that's odd. I went in and told the manager and she called the police. SB is getting a little sketchy for my taste.

Those guys are everywhere, including the more affluent places such as Mission Viejo and Irvine. They have a sixth sense about when it's time to shut the doors and disappear.

That 99 cent store is scary, the one on Mt. Vernon, Redlands Blvd & Yucaipa are much better, I did training out there in San Bernardino & even my co-workers told me to stay clear of that one.

San Bernardino isn't getting sketchy - it's been worse than sketchy for a long time. Crazy amounts of violent crime, and a decimated police force that lacks the man power to respond to anything except for life threatening emergencies in a reasonable amount of time.

Welcome to Socal, this has been going on for a long, long time. I've gotten gypsies to drive by my car and offer to hammer out the dents and primer the side. At other times, people have offered to sell me mixers, tires, clothes, all new. What you're describing is the black market....

Del Rosa south of Eureka is real shady. Especially around Lynwood. I was jumped in the north end around 48th and 3rd Ave in broad daylight.

The city is terrible outside of a few select secluded areas.

In the annals of understatement, that ranks up there with "Houston, we have a problem."
