Went to McDonalds in Redlands 7PM on a Saturday night. Male teen comes in and accuses the teen employee working behind the counter of giving him the "evil eye". He challenges the worker to a fight. My daughter is standing there wanting to order an ice cream, or else I would have left. I just don't feel safe any more. With all the shootings that have gone one throughout our country, I don't know what people are capable of or if they are going to pull out a gun.

Any given part of Redlands is still infinitely safer than 95% of San Bernardino, Rialto, Colton, Fontana, etc.

This is exactly why I do my best to not watch the news.

I was wondering.. I used to go to Cal State San Bernardino , I went to the school for about two weeks during the summer program but I had to leave early because problems at home. I didn't have a car in san bernardino but i lived near campus in the university district... The area was somewhat sketchy during the day its just ok, during the night past 8 its another story.. but anyway , I did visit redlands once. I did like the area of redlands its really nice .. One thing that I did notice that is that San Bernardino was very very poor for the most part excluding the north part which has nice back drop of the mountains and the university and that the crime and poverty is filtering into the outside suburbs of redlands and fontana , yuciapa etc.
Is this observation true , is the crime from san bernardino filtering into redlands?
