Hesperia is not nearly as hot as where I live. Summers are bearable in Hesperia. I own a home there that I want to sell. It is currently rented but apparently the tenants aren't interested in buying it or are unable to buy it at this time. Oh well, such is life!

Hesperia doesn't have too much to do, but it is close enough to places that do:

Victoria Gardens
Calico Ghost Town
The River
Vegas
The Beach, etc.

If you have a family, you probably are more interested in family friendly activities anyway. The schools in Hesperia aren't great, per say. Many people have there kids in the High Desert go to High School in Phelan because that's the desirable school. The private schools in the High Desert are worse than the public schools because all the "bad" kids get kicked out of thier districts, and are shuffled into the private schools. If you have kids, it's best to just keep them in the public school system, or home school them.
