Post Real estate question

Rep. John Dingell, a democrat from Michigan introduced a bill that would strip away the mortgage deduction for taxpayers who live in homes larger thatn 3.000 sq. ft.

What effect do you feel this will have on real estate values, real esate sales, real estate expansion or contraction , or the economy in general ?

Why ?

I can't believe that bill will get very far. I have heard rumors about such things, but all the guys voting on the bill live in homes larger than 3000 sq ft.
Leave it to the Democrats to try to suck us dry. Their theory is "give us all of your money and we will tell you how to spend it..!"
Maybe John is trying because there are no homes larger than 3k in Michigan....
