I've never had the need to go to a pawn shop, but I have an XBox (NOT 360) and a brand new deep fryer that I'd like to get money for. I have no boxes nor receipts for either anymore.

Which pawn shops in Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Pomona, etc. pay the best?

-Or Ebay. The higher-sometimes MUCH higher prices you can get are usually more than enough to offset their seller fees.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how Craigslist is still in business. Unless you are looking to buy a used ottoman and matching 1970's vintage sofa, that site (to me anyway) is useless because it's an absolute haven for fakes, flakes, cheesers, spammers and scammers near and far.

Craigslist has worked for me a lot better than Ebay classifieds or the Recycler.

Then again I'm not looking into their "Adult" section. Smaller items do well on Ebay but bulkier, heavier items are a hassle to sell and ship. I've sold tires, gates, speakers, cages, a washing machine and numerous other items there without a problem.

I wouldn't use it to sell jewelry, cellphones or a Rolex though.

You could meet at the local police station to do business.

Craigslist in the inland empire section will be your best choice. They may take 2-30 days to sell, but eventually they well. Expect 300% more from a private sale than a pawn shop. They're buying prices are disgustingly low.

Pawn shop might give you 20 dollars for your items on a good day. Don't let shows like "Pawn Stars" fool you into thinking you might get a decent price. All pawn shops are for are to take advantage of desperate people in desperate situations.
