ok. so im planning to purchase a home in the summer 2014 in Hesperia CA. i only work down the hill (30 mints) so job is not an issue.....as i been working for the same company over 5 yrs. Im planning to move my family up there to Hesperia as i can afford a nice home. I been taking trips up there to Hesperia to see the homes and neighborhoods and i have not seen anything bad. i dont mind about the heat or cold weather...is not really a problem for my family.

I see Hesperia keeps getting more more homes and business up there.

your thoughts?

thank you.

Eh, you know what Hesperia is like.

Buy somewhere close to either the 15 freeway or Main St or even Bear Valley Rd, where it's a bit more developed.

You probably don't want to live too far in and be surrounded by endless residential lots.

Thats exactly where im looking to purchase a home. South of Main st and Escondido st, close to the 15 fwy. my budget is around <250k so all the homes in this area are fairly new, build in yr 2000 and up.

I am looking to transfer to FT Irwin, is the commute doable and is there a shuttle bus to base?
I have researched that Barstow is not a great place to raise a family. I am considering Apple Valley or Victorville.

Thanks!
