Default Teaching Jobs in the Rancho Cucamonga Area

I hear that the student enrollment is declining due to high cost of living in RC & surrounding areas. (I don't know exactly where everyone is moving to). So there probably aren't many teaching jobs in the school districts in the area, correct? I've noticed a decline in teacher job fairs in the last couple yrs.
What's strange to me is that housing is being built like wildfire & most families have kids who of course need to attend school, yet the student enrollment is declining?
Is anyone else looking for teaching jobs as well in the Rancho Cucamonga area?

what subject and what grade level?

you already know it, but i'll say it anyway....
if you teach multi-subject at elementary,
if you teach single subject core-subject (english, math, science...)
you're likely to find a job.

if you teach special ed. definitely will find a job.

if you teach band/choir, art... have you looked into getting certified to teach special ed?

You're right. I know all about it already. I actually have two credentials in multiple subjects & special ed. I just have to keep looking. I just wanted others' input on the low student enrollment & it's effect on teaching jobs in the area.
