My husband and I are moving to Redlands pretty soon and we found this apt online which looks nice (Barton Vineyard 26630 Barton Rd. Redlands, CA 92373). Are there any apartments in Redlands to recommend? Thanks!!!!
(I posted it in wrong forum: Los Angeles at first and that's why no body replied me ) |

That's kind of a nowhere location, not really Loma Linda or Redlands. We lived in the Redlands Lawn and Tennis Club just past Alabama on Barton and thought it was OK. Plenty of stores there and easy access to I-10.

Thank you. I checked Lawn and Tennis Club online but the largest only has two bedrooms. We are looking for 3 bedroom apt with good neighborhood coz my parents may come to stay for several weeks. So far I only found Barton Vineyard has big apt but I have no idea about the trafic, shopping and so on in that area

Apartment complex is in a 'no where' area, but it is being built up from orange groves. Read: no former gang infiltration, not a poor neighborhood, likely a better up and coming than pre-existing. I saw these being built. They look good. Go for it.
There will be a heart hospital just down the street (literally a block away) which may or may not have sirens all night. There is also a Pinoy Adventist Church and a gas station right on the same block. Barton can get traffic east and west, but leave earlier. I think those corners/side streets are regulated, so you should have no problem. And the IE is a growth area, so you may buy lower and sell slightly higher for a minor profit. Good luck. |

I am also looking for an apartment in Redlands. I don't know if you have checked out this website: Apartment Ratings - Apartments for Rent with Ratings and Reviews from Actual Renters. You just need to put in the area code, you will find a bunch ratings.
Good luck. |

Yeah it is very helpful! Actually we want to find a apt very close to University of Redlands for temporary staying after deep consideration (coz my husband will be working in University and he wants to have a nap during the noon break
). We do need a spacious apt which narrows the searching results. I found one which looks nice. it's called Sunset View Apartments and it has private garage. Unfortunately, there is no review on this apt either from apartmentrarating.com nor google. Since we are out of the state and not able to check it on site, we need the comments badly!!! Anyway, I guess it is not as bad so that's why no complaint on it ![]() Quote:

Thank you Kin. We probably will pass this one because it is a little far from the university (10 mins on map but should be longer due to the traffic).

But if you are going to U of R, you will be going against traffic. My wife and I lived in Loma Linda and she attended U of R for a few years. Never had a problem getting there on time. And we were about 5 minutes west of your apartments in question.
