Post Property taxes in Perris, CA

I just wanted to be upfront with everyone. The property taxes in Perris, CA for new communities/construction are pretty high.

What no one told us was that not only will you get your regular property taxes but also a supplemental one for the new construction, (all of which goes for Prop 13 btw). If the home community that we were purchasing from was more upfront about this it wouldn't have been such a shock when we got them.

Also, it's like pulling nails fighting with the County of Riverside about them.

That's all... just wish someone would have warned me before I bought this house!
