Nursery Suggestions in Chino/Chino Hills/Corona/Mira Loma Area?
Hi Guys,
We're in the process of finishing up our back yard landscaping and was wondering if anybody has advice on where to go for local nurseries in the area. I'm looking for small/independent businesses - none big box stores.
We're looking at possible dwarf fruit trees, shrubs, and vegetables/herbs (cucumbers, tomatoes, cilantro, etc.). Also, what do people recommend/have grown in this climate, zone.
Thanks so much!

There is a Lowe's in each of the cities you mentioned. The thing I like about their plants is the one year guarantee they offer. Plus the stores are supplied with plants that are specific to the climate they are in. Get your plants there, save the receipt and if the plants do not survive their first year take the dead plant back and with the receipt and get a new one. I've done it, theres no questions asked, I got my new plant and was a happy shopper

Hi BreaOC,
Thanks for the info about the one year guarantee... we might take a look this weekend. I was hoping to get some answers for mom and pop independent businesses that people have gone to. But any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the feedback and recommendations! We went to the big box stores and got our tools and supplies and a couple plants. But, we actually got most of the rest of our plant materials at the Cal Poly Pomona Farm store. Supposively, the purchases at the Farm store helps out the school and their Agriculture program. Also the stuff there wasn't too bad and the students that run the place were helpful and nice.
Thanks again everybody!
